Gossip Girl 2.0 - A New Type of Influence

Hey Again Upper East Siders…

Wow I didn’t think I would get to write those words again, but have to say… it feels good to be back! It feels really intense, to be back in a world where Kristen Bell’s pithy voiced narrator is telling us all about the scandalous life and lies of the elite. But it’s also so obvious how the world has changed. Plus the fact that, first time around, I was the same age as Blair, Serena, Chuck, Nate, and Dan (Class of 2009, forever!) but one of the things I lived for were the Vulture/New York Mag post episode “New York Recaps”. I LIVED FOR THOSE, MAN. So, in more of an homage to those, as well as paying tribute to where the name of this blog comes from when I “started it” back in 2012… My post-episode recap will call out very specific New York things…. For more, check out this article I wrote on Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, but also drop any fashion I can see, since I was so good at it this first time around.
